BPA designed the St. Vincent’s Free-Standing Emergency Department to expand access to critical care in Trussville. Backed by a network of specialists, the facility provides 24/7 care for severe injuries and illnesses, including heart attacks, strokes, and fractures. With 12 adaptable exam rooms—including critical care and behavioral health spaces—alongside triage rooms, advanced imaging, and a full-service lab, the FED is built for flexibility.

Strategically sited to maximize natural light and calming views, the design enhances patient comfort while a centralized nursing core optimizes efficiency and responsiveness. This facility ensures that high-quality emergency care is available outside the traditional hospital setting.
