Located on the 7th floor of UAB Hospital’s North Wing and Quarterback Tower, this renovation brings together inpatient and outpatient services in Nuclear Cardiology, General Nuclear Medicine, and PET-CT Imaging under one roof. The design strategically enhances patient flow, expands diagnostic capabilities, and fosters seamless collaboration among care teams.

With limited access to natural light and exterior views, the interior design emphasizes biophilic elements to create a more restorative environment for patients and staff. Botanical imagery, a nature-inspired color palette, and organic visual textures are complemented by translucent materials and soft lighting, introducing a sense of airiness and connection to nature within the space.
