BPA transformed over 18,000 square feet of the UAB School of Optometry, creating a modern, student-focused environment for learning and research. Spanning the second and third floors of the Henry B. Peters Building, the renovations introduced state-of-the-art instructional spaces, advanced optics labs, and collaborative areas designed to enhance student experiences.

The third floor now features a tiered lecture hall, an optics learning lab, a student lounge, and a dedicated Student Affairs suite, while the second floor includes additional learning labs, flexible classrooms, and an expanded clinical exam space replicating National Board Examination lanes. Updated restrooms and upgraded building systems further improve functionality and efficiency. These enhancements ensure that the School of Optometry remains at the forefront of vision science education and clinical training.
